Get Your Financial Wardrobe In Order
10 Ways a Virtual Assistant Can Help!

When was the last time you gave your financial wardrobe a good hard look? Is it in order? Do you know? Maybe you do, maybe you don't, but whatever the case may be, now's a better time than any to partner with a Virtual Assistant to get this area of your life in balance.

Although a Virtual Assistant is not a financial planner or wealth management consultant, she can be very instrumental in getting your financial wardrobe in order. She can assist you in evaluating your financial wardrobe and support you in reaching your financial goals.

Here's 10 Ways a Virtual Assistant (VA) Can Help Get Your Financial Wardrobe In Order:

  1. Written Will
If you do not have one, have your VA work with you on this piece. Once your Will is in place, she can also keep it updated based on your input.

  2. Retirement Plan
If you are not contributing to a retirement plan, have your VA research your available options based on your financial goals. If you ARE contributing to a retirement plan, do you know exactly where the money is going (ex. growth mutual fund, money market fund, etc.)? If you're not sure, let your VA do the research and find out for you.

  3. Beneficiaries for Retirement Accounts & Insurance Polices
Have you designated beneficiaries for your retirement accounts and insurance policies? Do you know who the beneficiaries are and do they know who they are? Get your list of beneficiaries to your VA and let her handle all the paperwork and notifications with you only needing to sign your signature where necessary.

  4. Insurance
You should have adequate insurance for yourself, your business, and your belongings. If not, let your VA research your available options based on your financial goals.

  5. Short, Medium & Long-Term Financial Goals
Your short, medium, and long-term financial goals should be written down and posted where you can see them. If they aren't, have your VA type them for you and all you have to do is post them where you'll see them on a daily basis.

  6. Financial Records
Are your financial records organized? If not, please have your VA take care of organizing them for you. You'll be glad you did!

  7. Net Worth
Have you calculated your net worth in the last 12 months? Your VA can handle this for you; especially if she already keeps your books.

  8. Retirement Income
Let your VA determine how much income you will need at retirement based on your financial goals.

  9. Working Budget
Always maintain a working budget. Work with your VA to get this down on paper. How can you achieve your financial goals without maintaining a working budget?

  10. Social Security Retirement Benefits
Have you submitted a request for an earning/benefits statement forecasting your Social Security benefits at retirement? If not, have your VA mail the request and obtain the information for you.

Remember, VAs work proactively. They really want to know you, your business, your customers, and they really want to be deeply involved with your success. So, working with a VA to get your financial wardrobe in order is right in line with her helping you to reach your business, professional, and personal goals.

With a VA handling all the necessary paperwork, your financial wardrobe will always be only a glimpse away!

Jan. 07 Program: Relying On Intuition To Empower Your Business - Listen Now!

Guest Speaker
Janice Holman
Professional Success Coach
Charted Courses

Janice Holman is a typical baby-boomer. She went off to college convinced that it was the first step on the road to the American Dream. She kept walking that path - the professional climbing the corporate ladder - sure that it was the fastest way to happiness & wealth. However, after 30 years, she had to face the fact that she was neither happy nor wealthy. She just knew there had to be a better way and so she set out to find it.

Janice is not really sure if she found coaching or if coaching found her, but as soon as she was exposed to it, she knew it was what she was looking for. She enrolled at CoachU, one of the premier Coach training schools in the U.S., where she still takes advanced classes, and began the journey she was born to take. Her practice, Charted Courses Coaching, is dedicated to teaching her clients how to use their intuition to create an extraordinary life filled with passion and possibility.
